Connecting institutions, studios, and creative communities through initiatives that foster collaboration, cultural exchange, and sustainable growth within Latin America’s game-development ecosystem.

Events

I've participated and lead many international events, not just from Colombia but other countries that invited me to talk and promote our industries. These are some of the most relevant events I had the honor to being involved.

About me

I'm Daniel Sanchez, Regional Coordinator for Latin America at the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) and president of the Colombia chapter. With over 15 years in the industry, I’ve taken part in game jams, contributed to major IPs, and represented Colombia’s video game industry on international stages.I was the first Unity Certified Instructor in Latin America and have been ranked among the top three worldwide since the program began, reaching #1 in 2020. As Unity’s Education Ambassador for the region, I promote training focused on accessibility, innovation, and experimentation, especially in the indie space.I have designed and led educational programs in Colombia that connect game development with the creative and cultural industries, and I have linked local efforts with initiatives abroad, creating spaces for training, mentorship, and visibility for emerging talent.I work closely with Colombian government entities on the design and launch of programs and incentives that strengthen the country’s creative and digital industries. I frequently speak at international conferences, where I share my view of Latin America’s role in the future of game development.
